BildgeWater Crest

BildgeWater fanart with a big ole 3d Print at the end! I believe the original concept was created by Mark Gibbons. Looking back I'd definitely make some model changes to recapture some of the more angular shapes present in the concept, but overall what I really liked about this project was the various materials present. I thought it a great piece to explore styles and materials, without commiting to something very large. The PBR to Unlit is a bit of a process, but the idea behind it is, you can work in PBR space, and when your happy with the result Redshift has a nice bake to texture feature that will bake down all your maps into a single diffuse. Interesting result if you want the flexibility of both shader pipelines, or, have to support multiple hardware platforms (like PC to Mobile) If you would like the model to texture yourself or if you'd like to 3d print one, you can download the source and low ploy meshes at my website. (jjeverson.com) Solid smart material examples are using IFF Old Metal Collection you can find on artstation for a super fair price.
